John Minarik Memorial Award 2016

At the 2017 AGM, onboard the Celebrity Summit, it was voted to have the John Minarik Memorial Award presented to Jean-Francois LeBlanc, Membership Coordinator for the Atlantic Region 16. This prestigious award has been presented annually since 1975 to the member of the IPA Canadian Section who displays outstanding service and devotion to the IPA. Congratulations, Jean-Francois.

A motion was recently passed to produce a National IPA Service Pin for our members (see pic ). This pin comes in increments of 5 years starting at 5 years and goes up to 55 years. We now have the pins on hand and they will be issued to qualifying members over the coming months.

Une motion a été récemment adopté pour produire une épingle de service d'IPA national pour nos membres (voir photo). Ces épingles vient en incréments de 5 ans à partir de 5 ans et va jusqu'à 55 ans. Nous avons maintenant les épingles sur main et ils seront délivrés aux membres admissibles au cours des prochains mois.

Charles Wright Award

At the 2016 AGM held in Longueil, Quebec, IPA Atlantic Region was presented with the Charles R. Wright Award ( for a second year in the row ). The Charles R. Wright Award is awarded annually to the Region that has the largest percentage of new members. Rick Irving and Bernie Bergevin accepted the Award on behalf of Region 16.

Lors de l'AGA 2016 a eu lieu à Longueil , Québec , IPA Région de l'Atlantique a été présenté avec le Prix Wright R. Charles ( pour une deuxième année de file ). Le prix Charles R. Wright est décerné chaque année à la région qui a le plus grand pourcentage de nouveaux membres. Rick Irving et Bernie Bergevin a accepté le prix au nom de la région 16.

John Minarik Memorial Award 2015

At the 2016 AGM held in Longueil, Qc, Region 16 President Bernie Bergevin was awarded the John Minarik Memorial Award. This prestigious award has been presented annually since 1975 to the member of the IPA Canadian Section who displays outstanding service and devotion to the IPA. Bernie was presented the award by IPA National President Denis Nadeau. Congratulations !!

John Bowser is awarded Honorary Life Member

At the 2016 AGM held in Longueil, Qc, John Bowser received the title of Honorary Life Member. The Honorary Life membership status is granted to members of the IPA Canadian Section after a minimum of five years Ordinary Membership, and is awarded in recognition of some significant service performed to the benefit of the Association. Congratulations John!
